If you want the thinking behind what a quote should cover, without dollar figures on the page, read what a pool compliance certificate costs in NSW.
Small faults do not always need a second visit
Gate hardware, latch alignment and replacement signage are common examples. Most small faults, we can sort out how to put right on the day, rather than turn into a second visit. If the pool then passes, the certificate can be issued without arranging another inspection.
What is separate?
Structural fence work, replacement fence sections, significant building work and specialist trade work are separate from the inspection fee. If something larger is needed, I will tell you what the issue is and what kind of tradesperson you need.
Compare what the quote includes
When comparing providers, ask whether the quote includes advice, certificate issue and Register entry, what happens if another visit is needed, and how on-the-day minor work is handled. The number that matters is what it costs to actually get certified, not just the price to turn up once.
