Each guide below covers the local council, the housing and the terrain, and the pool fence problems that turn up most often in that area. What the inspection itself covers is the same everywhere: see how the inspection works.
Blacktown City
Mount Druitt, Doonside, Quakers Hill, Schofields, Marsden Park and The Ponds. Three generations of backyard fence inside one council boundary.
Hornsby Shire
Pennant Hills, Cherrybrook, Berowra, Galston and Brooklyn. Sandstone, slope and bushland interface across roughly 11,400 pools.
City of Ryde
Ryde, Eastwood, Denistone, North Ryde, Putney and Gladesville. What happens to a pool fence when the block around it is subdivided.
Ku-ring-gai and the lower North Shore
Gordon, Pymble, Chatswood, Northbridge, Mosman and North Sydney. Over 18,000 pools, heritage areas, and fences older than the current standard.
Hawkesbury City
Windsor, Richmond, Pitt Town, Kurrajong, Bilpin and the rural blocks. Over 5,000 pools, and farm fencing that is not a pool barrier.
Blue Mountains
Glenbrook, Springwood, Katoomba, Blackheath and Mount Victoria. Cold climate wear, steep sites, and a five year inspection cycle.

The rest of metropolitan Sydney, and the regions past it, are covered on the same one-certifier basis. What changes with distance is the window, not the service.
- Greater Sydney
- City, inner west, eastern suburbs, north, south and west. Usually the tightest turnaround once a booking is locked in.
- Central Coast
- Tell me the address and the reason for the certificate and I will give you a realistic window.
- Illawarra
- Wollongong and the wider Illawarra, with the same process from the first call to the certificate.
- Newcastle and Hunter
- Distance can stretch diary options, so early contact helps if you are on a sale or lease clock.
- Northern Beaches
- Manly through to the plateau and the peninsula, including older beachside homes where the original fence is still in place.
Anywhere else in the region: ask. If your area is not listed, a genuine answer is usually possible.
