Who handles your information

What is collected
The booking form collects your name, suburb, phone number, email address, property type, reason for the inspection, preferred contact time and any message you provide. The server also uses a one-way hash of the connecting IP address for spam and rate-limit controls. The raw IP address is not written into the booking record.
Why it is used
The information is used to respond to the enquiry, assess the location and inspection request, arrange the visit and maintain an operational record of the request. It is not sold or used for unrelated marketing.
How it is stored
A backup copy of each valid request is stored in a private server directory outside the public website. Access is limited to authorised operators. Email delivery will be added when the business mailbox is configured; until then, the private server record is the delivery record.
Disclosure
Information may be disclosed where required by law, to service providers needed to operate the website, or with your consent. Inspection and certificate information may also be entered on the NSW Swimming Pool Register as required by law.
